Located near Lake Kivu at altitudes of 1,600–2,000 meters, Kayumbu's high elevation slows the ripening of coffee cherries, resulting in beans with enhanced complexity and vibrant acidity. The region's volcanic soil, rich in nutrients, fosters healthy coffee plants and contributes to a bright, sweet cup. Additionally, the consistent climate with balanced rainfall, ample sunshine, and cool nights further elevate the coffee's quality.
